千葉県出身。 幼少期よりバレエを学ぶ。 カナダのArts Umbrellaへのダンス留学を経て、カナダのバレエ団、新潟市のNoism2にʼ19年まで所属。現在は梅田宏明主宰の「Somatic Field Project 」を拠点にフリーランスとして活動中。東京2020オリンピック開会式他、国内外様々な振付家の作品に出演。MV出演やブランド広告のモデル等も務めている。 

Yu Suzuki (she/her) was born in Chiba, Japan and started dancing at Aurora Ballet School in 2009. She moved to Vancouver to continue her studies at Arts Umbrella. After graduating, She joined as a full company member at Coastal City Ballet for the 2015-2017 season. After leaving Canada, She joined as a full company member at Noism Company Niigata (Noism2) for the 2017 - 2019 season. Currently working as a freelancer, She is based at the "Somatic Field Project”. She has also performed in the opening ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
